The tic tac toe dress! CALL FOR TESTERS

October 14, 2016

I am excited today to finally be ready to have my tic tac toe dress tested! I have been sharing some sneak peeks on instagram and have been happy to hear lots of you are looking forward to sewing up your own tic tac toe dress! The name was inspired by the Cloud 9 fabric designed by Rashida Coleman - Hale.  The crosses reminded m of the old fashioned game that my girls and I still like to play! Please scroll to the bottom of the photos for size chart and tester application link!

The dress features many options. Picture here, Emily is wearing hers with half collar, optional back tie (which can also be worn at the front), V- back and puffed sleeves.  Juliette wears the more basic version - sleeveless with regular back and no tie.  Other options include rectangular sleeves - gathered or plain, full collar and epaulettes. The dress can be made plainer still with not bodice piecing, or piped detail, but I think you will not resist adding piping to your dress!

The dress can be made up in soft fabrics like lawn, or more sturdy fabrics like this cotton canvas. The bodice is lined and the back closes with an invisible zip.

Photographing children can sometimes be challenging and I am sure my sister thought I was made yesterday making bribes with my girls for 'just one more photo' out the front of her house!

Thank goodness Mum has finished photos! Let's hug!

To apply to test, please check the size chart and make sure your girl fits within the measurements.
